Oh, only in the introduction of the video but apparently I've heard online that maybe Fate Prototype may actually get it's own anime in the future.

Prototype is so weird, like you said. It's also the only major Fate entry that I haven't read beyond watching the OVA and the materials. Though I guess that's not really true anymore, because I haven't read Lost Einherjar either. I guess this will be a good chance to do it. I'm pretty much caught up in FSF and it's not actually relevant at all, as they're two completely separate universes, but I guess there's a chance it will be later. Never say never with Narita.

30:29 well, no, the true user of Pegasus is… Bellerophon, the hero who rode the Pegasus to kill the Chimera, tried to fly to Mount Olympus, and which the NP is named after.
While this is pretty much it for the canon Fate Prototype, there are some other notes from the original Fate story (called Old Fate or Fate Origin) which may or may not still be canon, such as Proto Heracles having a God Hand equivalent which ensured his victory for 11 battles, but he would be killed due to Proto Gil having a NP the guaranteed his survival, thus Herc would end up dying while still technically winning the battle.
It is noted in a materials book that Proto Gil does kill Proto Herc, so maybe these NPs are still canon, or maybe their interaction went completely differently, who knows.
Also, Assassin and Caster were still Kojiro and Medea in Fate Origin, while in Prototype, they are unknown; Rider in Origin was Theseus, before being replaced in Prototype by Perseus.
If ya ever do Fragments, good luck lol, the translation can be a bit… rough unfortunately.

As a note not mentioned here by the way, Arthur’s corruption into an “Arthur Alter” so to speak gave him a personality which would then go on to be used for FSN Gilgamesh!
While Arthur is very much a mix of OG Saber and Archer, his focus is definitely on the “perfect prince on the white horse” aesthetic, the type girls dream about.
Meanwhile both Gil and Cu were younger and generally a lot more moral which is fun, although Gil clearly wasn’t above his status as “bad boy”. It’s a fun dynamic with the boys always fighting over Ayaka in comedic shorts.

I was waiting for you to get into fragments of sky silver! I would also recomend you to check out the CD dramas of fragments ( I think they made a version with subtitiles a couple years ago) not only because the seiyuu's did and excellent job, but because the OST they made for it has some real bangers, it also contains one of my favorite fate theme's alongside EMIYA, that being Arthur's theme aka Knight of Sky SIlver I really think you should check it out or at least check the soundtrack.
Just to let you know that while there is a translation for Prototype Fragments, it's pretty wonky and the story is told out of chronological order. The audio drama added new scenes and was restructured to be in chronological order. It's one of my favorite entries in the Fate Series but admittedly it has some noticeable flaws and worked better in its audio drama form. And sadly that isn't translated.
While googling for prototype a while back when I didn't know much about it, I found some folks at beast lair who translated the script of prototype. The OVA comes from this script, but obviously the script has a lot more scenes and details of the story that wasn't in the OVA. So there is a written story of prototype that isn't the prequel Sakurai wrote if anybody wants to check it out. And some of these details come up in other works – not to mention the AU Christmas scenario at the end references other stuff as well.
I typed "fate/prototype original script." Clicked on the Beast lair thread that showed up, and there is a google docs about it on the first page. I've only scrolled through the video before I watch it, so I'll feel like a silly goose if this gets brought up in the video lmao.
