thank you for this video. there is a reason why payola is illegal. propaganda is bad. when random people get some kind of megaphone and the media exacerbates false information, it affects public perception. the truth can't cut thru all the BS. some peope are not mentally strong enough to weather it. culturally, asians are really big on shame. it works for a lot of things in their societies. but this can also have consequences. people will just believe the headline without doing any verifying. i hope the family presses charges against whoever they can for defamation or something (idk Korean law), because aside from that, i don't see anyone learning from this tragedy. rip to Lee Sun-kyun. that guy had so much talent and an unforgettable voice.

I was crushed by the news. I liked his work and that was all I knew. I did not know he was being investigated as I just watch the kdramas and don't fangirl over the celebrities. Though I would usually watch the show if he was part of the cast. So it just hit me all at once: the tragedy of his decision, the injustice of what he suffered,and the ignominy that sparked it all. RIP Ahjussi 😢😢😢

If these celebrities are vilified and their lives destroyed by anyone who points a finger at them, how does innocence until proven guilty mean anything. These media organizations need to be held accountable for their lack of discretion.

He is a tortured soul some men are more neurotic and artsy and with that comes bullies that are not aware of that kind of thought process of seeing the world melancholy like vs their football and beer life. I am Korean too and we have Han hanging over our head and hearts we put a lot of our own judgements onto others because we don't want to look inward so if you are grown and understand this try and be a little kinder and less judgmental for yourself and others.
