PEAKLAND SAGA is back
Translation Notes
HÁVAMÁL ,Hávamál
A poem found within the Poetic Edda, a collection of Old Nordic poems. The title translates to "sayings of the high one," and the contents of the poem are attributed to Odin. The Japanese translation, when not simply titled "Hávamál," is known as "the song of Odin" or "the proverbs of Odin." Hávamál is a gnomic poem, meaning that its verses are meant to serve as lessons or advice on customary topics, such as the laws of hospitality for both guest and host.
King Sweyn(Svhen) of Denmark offered Askeladd a stark choice: the security of his homeland Wales, or the life of his master, Prince Canute(Can-oot). Askeladd's answer was immediate: He struck off Sweyn's head. The meeting of military leaders erupted into chaos after this act of regicide(the action of killing a King), but Canute recognized the play at hand, and killed Askeladd himself, thereby accomplishing Askeladd's aim. Canute immediately took the throne. But after witnessing the end of his father figure, Thorfinn was left empty inside. He was eventually sold into slavery to work on a farm.
Thats kurt cobain not thorfin
Dude, where is Andor Episode 12 Finale reaction? It's literally only one episode left, it's been more than a month since you guys react to Episode 11 now it's time for 12.
Andor Season 1 Finale is so good and don't forget there is important after credits scene.

Can you post op/ed reaction? They are beautiful
At the end of the day we watch tv show or movies , listen to music , play some sport because we enjoy do it those things. Some enjoy the deep meaning to a show , some enjoy the action , some listen to the lyrics to a song , some don't listen to the lyrics and like that song only because of the beat or instrumental. Adam doesn't like Vinland Saga but the other guys like it , and there are things that Adam like but other guys don't like , that's the beauty to us humans we are not the same , we like different things. What I'm trying to say is that if Adam doesn't like Vinland and doesn't want to do reactions , its OKAY because we watch things that we enjoy and what is the point of watching something that he doesn't enjoys.
Please watch Evangelion!!
Thorfinn is 19/20 in this part btw
I mean for aot mappa wasn’t the ones that made it change to Marley 😂 and Vinland saga is a magnificent character journey with thorfinn and his growth as a mentally and physically damaged adult who doesn’t know what to do with his life especially after askeladd died
Loving the excitement for Vinland season 2! I have to say that if what stood out for you in the prologue was the themes and character driven story then you will continue to adore this story (maybe even more) This is where Yukimura finally delves into the story he always wanted to tell. There’s a reason that this arc is known as one of the best in manga period.
Although I have to say while your discussion was really enjoyable it’s not the best feeling watching someone go into something that they aren’t enjoying. I think debates and opposing opinions on certain elements are great for group discussions but when someone actively already dislikes something for the very simple reason that it’s ‘just not for them’ it doesn’t make for productive discussions. Maybe the person on the left should give it a few episodes and decide if they want to continue. But hey it was still a really good reaction and discussion overall. Now let’s get farming! 🌾🌾
Vinland OP & ED is edited and ready for you guys…. HOWEVER
There are currently restriction on YT for the not-yet released, intro song "River".
When the Youtube Block is lifted, we will release reaction.
"Is this Vinland? Are we sure?" – Bro, Vinland is on American Continent 😀
Einar isn’t a literal kid, he’s 20 years old.
Andor finale?
I think people do this arc a disservice by saying how slow it is. It's paced closer to a live action show than an anime, but it's still got plenty of intrigue. I hope Adam ends up loving this show but if he doesn't that's fine, i'm glad hes voicing his opinion. He should definitely stay on the couch. This series is one of my favorites and I would have never heard about it if it weren't for your guys' reactions.
Love the reactions from you guys!
As someone who always watches the discussion portion I can say Adam does not bother me at all and I'm glad he's here. Even if he's not looking forward to this show maybe he can still take something from it if he sticks around.
This arc is somewhat slow, but in a good way. Also this only covered one chapter so that might be why it felt pretty slow. If I had to guess we should cover close to 3 or 4 chapters per episode from here on out.
This season is packed with GREAT characters. I probably need both hands to count them on.
AoT is a shonen manga. Not that it really matters which label a manga falls under. Some people think "seinen" automatically means darker and more mature when seinen can be anything really, like Kaguya Sama which is a light-hearted, childish romcom series with a highschool setting yet that's a seinen manga.
That episode was beautiful. Crisp visuals, great opening and ending songs, original content not in the manga expanding upon Einar's backstory. 10/10
Whats the point of having someone that really dont like the show react. Dont force him, And that aot take was terrible.
You can say the protagonist for Vinland S1 was more Askeladd than Thorfinn, but from now on, Thorfinn is gonna be the true focus, and from a perspective of a manga reader, I think Thorfinn is one of the most "human" main characters with an amazing character development, definitely one of my favourites. BTW the flashback of Einar (before the scene on the boat) was not in the manga so they did an anime original backstory for him, which made me sympathize more with his character.
Hey fellas, I absolutely adore Vinland Saga and I'm really glad u guys are reacting to it.
Please don't take this The wrong way, but do u know when the finale of S1 of Andor will come to the YT channel?
Actually, funny enough, AoT was published in a shonen magazine. So, AoT isn't a seinen (despite people's insistence).
AoT falls under dark shonen, just like JJK or ChainsawMan
Tokyo Ghoul is a seinein and you should check out the manga because the anime deviated from it after season 1 (season 1 also skipped alot of things from the manga and censored alot of things from it)
I think Adam would enjoy watching One Punch Man type of anime.
Anyways, it’s totally fine and interesting to me hearing honest thoughts from each of you!! So keep up with your good work guys😊
I think Adam should stay on the couch if it's just something he passively finds less engaging or less enjoyable, because often that's how you challenge yourself to like new things, BUT if he actively dislikes it as it sounds like then nobody should be forced to do something they actively don't want to do. Really, it's up to Adam but I think that Vinland, especially this arc, has a lot of lessons for life.
If Adam doesn't really like this show? Why watch it? I mean, maybe he is really trying to like it but sometimes it just doesn't work out and that's fine, forcing it may be worse.
What u know about my boy Musashi miyamoto
