The second episode gave us a POV of the machines and, the life of the resistance before 2B and 9S arrival. This is where it sets the scene now for the meat of the story. Really love the different approach to the story’s narrative for this episode.

Well, will it be anime original or adapting the game into more anime-like?!?!
Lily only appears in name in the game, and her full-fledged appearance will be in the novel and manga. Glad to see Devol and Popol already in the second episode.
I wonder if that nice robot is Emil? Its teeth were very much shown before it died and while it fell down. Did we just witness Emil's backstory? If so, I am gonna cry in the corner.

Damn, not much happened in the first half of this episode, yet I was so invested from beginning to end.
This is a much better episode
In different version of A2 Backstory, different people die, some are Anemone, some are Jackass. Lily is alive in the anime timeline or branch. Parallel branch is common in Yoko Taro world.
