Spanish firing Marty after being 14-2 but keeping this dude is deplorable
Lombardi had more screen plays in his playbook than a Hollywood writers convention. Jags blitzed up the middle majority of the game and he never called any crossing routes to take advantage of it. Just kept calling screens to the running back, receivers and tight ends.
The amount of weapons we have on offense and the names we have on defense, there is no reason for us to lose that game. Coaching conservatively is stupid. The clock management was terrible. The offense is limited. The defense is uninspired. I knew we were going to lose. I had friends texting me in the 1st half saying we got this. I said talk to me after the game. The Chargers will do Chargers things.
Chargers went into prevent. They allowed the jags to pick em apart by the short routes like they did early in the year. Chargers cbs destroyed Jax wrs when in press coverage. CBs backed off n got killed in the yards after catch. Y change what was working? They were afraid and he reverted back to a once dominant defense scheme (deep safety) that the league figured out.
Dan wild, Stanley needs to be fired he is robbing us from seeing Justin Herbert true potential. The fact you got this man throwing 3 4 yard passes with one of the strongest arms in the nfl is just crazy.
I am not sure I am firing someone who has moved the time forward from the previous year. Only S.P. gets him removed as head coach.

I think it's so wrong these pundits call for people to lose their jobs, they can give out about his decisions and so on but don't be calling for peoples jobs
I like Staley as a person and a coach just not for this team because he is a defensive coach and our defense have been terrible so let’s get a cough cough offensive minded coach and maximize our best player because look at the other top qbs and how many of them qbs got a offensive mind coach and they are doing great things

IF it was JUST the offense that stinks, MAYBE give stale lee another chance. But, the so called defensive guru defense STINKS too. 2 years and the chargers are WORSE than they were BEFORE stale lee took over. And, he has done TOO MANY inexcusable mistakes. Leaving an injured QB in a game down 38-10. NO excuse. BLOWING a 27 point lead, NO excuse. and other stupid mistakes that even FANS knew were STUPID.

I’m not saying that he should get fired but I wouldn’t be mad if he did. Like SA said, coaches and player get cut and fired for not living up to their potential all the time. These past two seasons staley has had three major lapses that could cost him his job:
1) time out vs the raiders
2) playing his starters last week
3) allowing this comeback
Next year would be my final year for him to prove himself if I was in charge. This year his squad was hurt but next yr hopefully they will be healthy because they will have arguably the best roster in the nfl.
Staley has proven himself as a good coordinator but that is completely different of a head coach. He has not proven himself as a good head coach/leader and I don’t think he is right for the job like SA said. I think Sean Payton would be solid because of his offensive mind but I also think Brian Flores would be perfect as well
It is honestly impressive just how positive Dan always is about players and teams. ESPECIALLY mid problematic players

If Brandon Staley is giving the locker room pep talk on the first day of training camp…..many players who just suffered through the debacle will tune him out and figure the upcoming season will be one to avoid injury at all costs and calmly cash paychecks twice a month.
