The 100 Years Quest was already a thing told in the show early that their are different difficulty quest of 10 years or 100 quest, and they were named this due to them being quests, which were never finished . So basically, 100 Years Quest is a quest that nobody could finish for 100+ years, and after everything was resolved, Natsu had asked the leader Makarov to be given authority along with his team to take this quest .

Btw if you want to, I will re-explain the plot . SPOILERS

The "Evil wizard's" name is Zeref . Natsu and Zeref were biological brothers . I think 400+ years ago Natsu, along with his father and mother, died, but Zeref tried to revive Natsu despite being warned . In the end, Zeref was cursed . The more Zeref showed kindness and love to life, the more the curse took the life of everyone around him . On top of this, the curse made him immortal, so his suffering continued . Zeref learned many different magics and finally succeeded in reviving Natsu, but this time, he made Natsu with the sole purpose of ending him so he could escape this harsh life .
Natsu now restarted his life with a dragon as a father-figure named Igneel . Igneel taught Natsu Fire Dragon Slayer Magic so that he could kill Acnalogia, a human who was betrayed by dragons and who started killing them and bathed in their blood and got the power to become dragon himself .
Natsu, along with 4 other Dragon Slayers, were sended in the future, which is the present, but as children as they crossed to the future they all splitted up and forgot their memories of each other and coming to future (Kind of a weird plot 😅)
In present, Zeref met Natsu after 400+ years and cried. Meanwhile, Natsu was fully confused as he didn't remember Zeref at all . Zeref, who has a kind heart yet EVERYONE, always thought he was an evil wizard . People tried to use him for their own reasons due to which he snapped and stopped caring about holding back .
Acnalogia came and attacked the island, but Mavis combined everyones powers and sealed the island away along with them until another member came to find them, and I think 7 years later they got out . Some plots later, the END book came into play, which turned out to mean "Ethereous Natsu Dragneel" . Basically Zeref created Tartarus and created a whole demon ar.y and a king of the underworld who thought END is Zeref's finest work, which they needed to protect, but they didn't knew Natsu was END all along .

Opening 16 is a wrong one. That's the opening from way before it with the visual of their movie. Yes the second to last got switched with the third from last because the one that looked world-ending and the dark wizard transforming to white IS the last one. Also like you said. Tbh the idea for the arcs in Fairy Tail are actually fresh and amazingly executed during their time. Even common arcs in long anime like travelling to another world (Edolas arc), timeskip arc and tournament arc are not similar to others and are actually exciting. Yeah sure there are few flaws, but the flow and smoothness of the storyline in Fairy Tail is actually pretty neat and not out of place. And can I say, they really fxking know how to start an arc 😆I was always super excited at the start of their new arc. Like something super bad always happened. They also play with the same characters making them return from time to time which help with the nostalgic value but also unlike most shows where the characters are just one time thing. The 100 years quest is literally that. A quest nobody was able to complete for 100 years. And this is the last season (for now) and they're going all out with the story. Again 😂

Opening 16 is not the actual one, and you inverted op 24 (with the pink cristal shattering) with 26 (the « endgame » one), but aside it’s in the correct order, good reaction, it’s so cool to see someone reacting to openings of a show they know (even if it’s some vague memories)

Fairy Tail 2014 is continuation of Fairy Tail. Did you really start with that? No, you did start from beginning and dropped it in 2014. I did too. Got 5 episodes into Fairy Tail (2014).
You remembered Celestial Keys. Then you remembered Jellal and Mystogan being duplicates.
Lisana of Edolas (world without magic) died.
Fairy Tail lost its place as top guild because all the main characters got frozen/trapped on that island. Other Fairy Tail members that remained weren't strong enough.

ZERO If they are showing backstory of first Fairy Tail leader then i believe ZERO means origin, how everything started.
