I hope your planning on suing the contractor that put together the bin site because the fact that you’re barely able to navigate safely on top of a brand new bin site is ridiculous
Hi Cole, when you make up your fertiliser prescription maps for your farms do you have some areas with no fertiliser applied? After watching some of Brian’s videos they have noticed that they had areas where they had no fertiliser spread their yield did drop quite significantly. So from now on he said they will put in a “base or minimum “ rate, just so their fields are getting at least some fertiliser. In an ideal season, yes you could get away with having a 0 rate, but that is hard to predict at the start of the season. We have done some trials on our own farm, but if we do eventually go to full prescription mapping then we will be doing the same. I think it really depends on the rainfall you have and the growth stage of your crop which really defines what would be the best result for prescription maps, as we have discovered that a dry start to the season did make a big difference to our trials. Keep up the good work, and yes as many hours as it takes to do the auditing of your farming enterprise it is definitely worth while doing.👌👍

Poor Cole looks sleep deprived. A quick one in the hay sure is pleasurable but life with the result of it – a newborn, sure ain't.
On your auditing, if you spread all the way to the edge of the field yet you leave a 3 foot distance all the way around because the planter can’t plant right on the edge. You will have a loss of acres. The bigger the field or the more obstacles it has…the more loss. Just another thought.
