This episode was inspiring, badass and also really emotional lol. Senya getting his memories back only to respect Shisnuke even more. Shogun wishing Senya a long life knowing full well he'll die today. Harigane the smallest katawara being the bravest.
Notice how the adults are trying to keep Senya from knowing about the Shogun's eventual death? Even Hanatora the land goddess played a part in shoeing Senya away while she's evacuating the subordinates. I love how the characters are always so considerate.
Historically speaking, the shogun has to die because it's literally written in history he dies here lol. Narratively speaking, he's trying to die here in a fight so Matsunaga doesn't go after his subjects.
