Lmao yes, another Sasakoi arrangement. I love this show and its songs way too much.

Giftee/Gifty is hands down my favourite song from the show, though I’m probably slightly biased because of the piano usage in this song (it’s so good I swear), haha. I quickly decided that I had to arrange this.

I wanted to convey the piano parts as accurately as I could, so I spent a lot of time transcribing them. However, my transcribing skills are horrible, and it was thanks to certain people in Piano VI’s Discord server that I was able to get it up to my standards.

To be able to include the piano parts, I had to write several parts with 3-hand technique (they’re noticeable in the choruses). The really difficult ones are at 0:21 and 3:33 (there’s technically 4 voices in this). The amount of 3-hand technique gave me flashbacks to my “Gotoubun no Kimochi” arrangement (https://youtu.be/H5P79E-fbI4?si=lL0K6ouYZ072YJ59), lmao (at this point, majority of my arrangements remind me of it).

I just want to take a whole paragraph to rant about how the left hand has an ungodly fast jump to a cursed 10th stretch (E flat to G) in 1:30 (and other repeating places). I’m really sorry to pianists with small hands 💀. Even for me, it is a gamble to hit that perfectly.

I think this is the first time I used black key glisses in my arrangements. The one at 3:09 was extremely satisfying to play XD

All in all, this arrangement was one of those where I could be a little more creative with what I wanted to do, so I had a lot of fun arranging this. As mentioned in my previous video, life has gotten extremely busy and so I don’t have any projects planned so far, meaning that I probably will disappear for a long while (excluding the tutorial for this)… But I’ll be back.
