I called it. I knew Sybilt was in Future Hikari. But the plot twist with Nao was not expected. This reminds me of when Kazuma was possessed by Gyze in GZ and in that series Luard got corrupted so does that mean Vagra Dragres gets corrupted as well or will it be a whole new deck?

I think it could be Nao and Sybilt are the same person or similar, but Nao took sybilt power before Sybilt and then plot twist that Nao was actually a unit from Cray abandoned on earth, losing her memory. Then when she touch the card Sybilt power went to her and gone rampage causing incident, then When Sybilt arrive Nao and his power nowhere to be found because she keep moving.
What I'm trying to say is Sybilt soul and power get separated from body, and Nao is his body gaining consciousness after taking the power and then losing memory.

I don't think it is because she is fan favourite, what if Sybilt actually is Varga Dragress. It is only make sense to take over her body.

In hindsight, that bus scene makes sense.

I get that present Hikari needed to lose for the plot and for her to come through but she shouldn't have lost this fight, she had well enough shield to block the three attacks on the last turn.
She had a draw, a heal, a crit, and a 5k shield.
She takes the first swing then she uses the heal and 5k to block Amorta (since it was 18k and her shield would make her 33k), and then drop her crit and draw to stop salvaar which would be 33 to her 38k. The episode was good but the fight finale was poor imo, it reminded me of how Senka VS Nao ended when Senka had enough shield to block but they couldn't make her win so they forced Nao to win.
