I am also reading about Alliant taking total purchases for the statement period. I might send them an email to verify this
Earn up to 2.5% cash back on your first $10,000 of qualifying eligible purchases (1.5% for purchases over $10,000)
Doesn’t fidelity have a 3% back?
This is good to know about but it really depends on what you spend on average over the coarse of a year. For example if you spend $15000 a year on this card vs something like Citi 2x cash it's only a difference of $25, which is $25 more and that's awesome but when you think of the $1000 a month that has to just sit, it's a lot less attractive. It seems silly but if you took the $1000 required to have sitting in the account and put it in a high yield savings account instead it would overcome the difference cash back quickly. So like I said good to know about but a lot of hustle for very little (to nothing) gained in my case. But obviously that totally depends on what you spend. Thanks for the video and keep up the great work!
Sofi Credit Card is still better. No min bal to get the 2% cb on everything and Savings is at 3.75% APY on all balances-if you have DD. 3% cb for the first year. No waiting for the statement to print to see your rewards, they post once your purchase post to account.
