I used to watch starship troopers with my dad and brother before going to school
Just watched it myself, and I would have give it 4/5 too. Sure, the art work wasn't always there at the start, I admit that, but as the story went on, it got some what better. Sure, the story could have been better, but still, I loved it and would watch it again.

I saw on the Netflix trailer comments and people were just crapping hard on this show. Mainly for the animation, and a few screaming "Too Woke!!!"
After watching the show I couldn't help but laugh at those idiots.
IM I THE ONLY ONE THAT THINKS THE CREATURES LOOK JUST LIKE TARDIGRADS. I just finished the series, and I loved it. It's one of those series I want to continue, I like how they added in a love interest for the main character it really showed that there was another reason for escaping the planet other than survival. They had to protect a pregnant woman who really hit it home for me. They were protecting each other, not themselves. I would like to see a season 2 where it shows them all settling down on the same planet rebuilding there life's then the season conflict would be something like the creatures guts or waste causes a disease or viruses which infects the planets population and forces the characters to try and survive and or escape.
It really was a great show although the animation really wasn't good at all but luckily that did not take away much from the story and excitment of it. However, at the end, it made the almost the same mistake as the the Fast and Furious franchise. I thought they were going to name the baby Casper commemorating the awesome robot who almost gave its life protecting the baby but they ended up with the dumb name "Kou". Just like in Furious 7 when they decide to name Dom's baby Brian instead of Paul. In the movie, Brian was still alive so who in the world names their kid after an alive and well brother in law? They were supposed to commemorate the actor not the character…
I really enjoyed this anime, eally liked the 3D Style too! I felt that it kind of reflected on modern day society and how the rich and Powerful always get privileges that first class treatment when it came to escaping the planet. However, the modern day Working Man really had to struggle
Am i the only person that sees this as a Lost Planet anime?
Clearly the producers of this REALLY like tardigrades, and thought they should feature as monsters in a sci fi story. water bears everywhere.
the drawing is (once you get used to it) actually quite good… and the story, the people, the setting of season 1 …. I think everything is more than successful.
Are you all people here paid by the studio or is this some gathering of very easily impressed people?
Between horrendous CGI and abosultely atrocious writing this series gets 5/10 and lower on all agregates. What are you all talking here about?
Me myself I am not actually very nitpicky and watch stuff others often claim mediocre at best buy this is one of very few instamces where I couldn't finish.
Just awful, horrible pacing, horrible characters, main character gets his growth arc within 3 first episodes, and dialogues are just sooooo cliche, actio is slow and stiff, in fact all movent is stiff, not eye candy even
