Manga readers were waiting for this chapter to be adapted. However, i don't know why, this chapter hit my guts in the manga more than in the anime. I read it two times and cried both times. Maybe I expected more from anime but i am glad that it's hitting people in the way it intends to and okay with not meeting the expectations I had from it.
I feel like the ED song just hits harder the more this season goes on. Amazing episode this was.

Fun ep Vinland saga
It's very easy to lash out and respond in aggression or violence . It's alot harder to find another way to react to a situation peacefully. It's tough honestly.
Especially given the time period and circumstances. But I'd argue Vinland Sagas messages are more relevant now today due to everything happening all over the world .
I appreciate Thorfinn's efforts to try to break the cycle of violence and hatred. Instead of becoming part of the vicious cycle again .
More times or not history keeps repeating itself , with past trauma of past generations repeating again to an entirely new generation.

I'm a die hard feed me some shonen battle stuff but I love Vinland Saga and where this series goes at least from where I am in the manga. I've caught up to a month ago but this series is fantastic and it's deep. Pacifism is hard road to walk but it's a damn interesting one to see play out in a world full of monsters and simple people who have known nothing but a world of violence. MAPPA has once again killed it.
I’ve am so happy seeing the scene animated. I remember reading it the first time in the manga years ago and it impacting me way more than I expected. I’m having a lot of joy watching everyone’s reactions to season 2 so far.

IMO the dream sequence was completely in his head (not that it matters, its very real/vital to Thorfinn) although it's left to the viewer.
Great episode! Definitely agree with the comparisons to Attack on Titan you guys brought up, it is funny how alike they are in both theming and production
