Big lawsuits are expensive and time consuming. You need to win the lawsuit and then extract the cost to repair their shoddy work, all legal fees and the value of your own time too and hope they don’t declare bankruptcy during the process otherwise you will have a very expensive judgement to frame. The only winners in this are the lawyers unfortunately.
Literally you want what you asked for and signed agreement states … shonky workmanship.. hope it all comes good and someone who specialises in this can fix mistakes
hi
check out these guys soy made grease and every thing for machines and fluids… i know you got to have these guys for a great buyer…. soy is s insect repellent and it kills thought reproductive system…. it is now beening showed in more men the woman's now.. even in Asia
Would a second opinion and written estimate for corrections from another contractor help your case?
well next time you will maybe do some research on the contractor obviously forty years was not enough
this dude screwed you over hard and well nancy, you kinda did thismto yourself
The lawyers reply back on being mystified is hilarious, he is implying you are to blame as well because you waited so long. Hum….was that in the contract? No!
Good job young man. Shows your backbone. Good luck
your videos make me cringe so fffff bad
Just subscribed ✌, watching from Davenport Iowa
A few years ago I was reading a blog written by a man who was building his custom dream home. Every day after the contractors left for the day he would walk the job site and inspect the work. If he found deficiencies, shoddy workmanship, or any work not up to spec, he would issue a written stop work order that stayed in effect until everything was corrected. his reasoning was that the contractors would forgo the last payment installment and "skip out", rather than put in the time material, and labor costs to correct the accumulated deficiencies. My biggest regret is that this form of construction supervision came after I was building my own house. At a half million suscribers, if everything that you are stating is true, it would be to your benefit to play hardball and put the name of the company on blast. The negative publicity would be very similar to what the MSM does to people…"Trial By Media".
I'm not a lawyer. I do want to caution you about posting videos related to litigation you're involved on Social Media. You should be getting the OK to post your comments/videos on the litigation through your attorney prior to releasing the video. You don't want to inadvertently make a comment that the opposition counsel can you against you thus undermining everything your working for.
Best wishes on the success of your case and best wishes on the up coming growing season.
All I can say is that everyone should just stay out of this cause who knows what the judge will think if we don't n it may cause trouble for Cole so all we can do is support him n his family
You've shown concerns from the get go of when the bins were going up. Nice transparent. Let the courts and your attorney hash the issues out
Quit YELLING
Cole, I just spoke with a friend that does professional productions. He recommended you make a playlist of every vid showing bin site, prep, construction, repairs, damage, faulty workmanship and let your viewers “crowdsource” and investigate the playlist so you can get a comprehensive list of video evidence that you may have missed. Seriously consider this.
I realize that your upset but please dont vent on line. Let the courts do there thing. Ive been on thecontractor side for 30 years and have been in this spot. People with o MN ly one side of the the story can really be ruthlessl. Im not saying you lawsuit isnt right but posting on line can ruin t his contractor and thats not fair. They ran my company in the ground and then the court found we werent at fault but it was too late. Just saying please dont slam this in the ground on line
Have you had a structural engineer look over the welds your concerned about ( I haven't watched the whole video)
Osha is ya best buddy.
A million dollars is a massive chunk of change. If they didn't do what they said they were going to do then 100% get a lawyer. I hope it all goes well.
U say your trying to protect both parties but that in no way is true or u wouldn't be blasting this all over YouTube I understand that the contractor should be held responsible if they made mistakes and there not much of a company that values there reputation. Good luck ur facing a long drawn out battle
I have a great idea take your millennial entitlement syndrome and shove it. I know many farmers and ranchers who have not had pleasant experiences with building contractors. But did they resort to a GoFundMe page, not a chance in
I would have gone with Sukup.
Sometimes it's hard to spot a bad weld until that overhead structure gets ice logged and beaten with heavy winds maybe even it was a perfect weld for that material but the thickness of the material was a bit too skinny to support thousands of pounds of ice and the force of 40+mph winds unless you specified "all overhead structure load bearing supports must be "x" in thickness with "y" material" so (7/16ths inch stainless steel) but if you didn't specify then it should of been on the contractor to appropriately size the right material and bring his conclusion up to you and explain why you must have this grade and thickness of material based on your location as far as weather but I'm not a lawyer but in my head I think that's how things should go
You know, the one thing they always talk about legally, never talk about the case on video. 😳
We’ve seen videos they did shady work building the bin site
You explained there are 4 phases for $1 million dollars. The bill was for a total $250,000 for phase 1. You're going to lose what are you confused about?
