Cooper is selling his old hay disc mower and baler. Also, I got the ultra high performing V10 Viper engined dually stuck in the middle of the road 4 times in a 12 mile trip. Does anyone know how to fix four wheel drive?

There's a difference in wanting it done and wanting it done. Right where it don't cause a fire think before you act

Right on Cole if I can save 5000.00 doing it myself then that’s the way it will be done. 👍👍

Rent or find a scissor lift. One man can do it in an afternoon, I think $5000 was a f**k you bid for that job.

Happy Hills Farm 2023.03.24 - 8:48 pm

$5k for that job seems like highway robbery.

Allen Mason 2023.03.24 - 8:56 pm

You should paint the conduit white

Robbie Bowie 2023.03.24 - 9:05 pm

Maybe the engine is heating the seat.

Making money is an action. Keeping money is behavior. Growing money is knowledge..

Your $5K savings in electric work could be very short lived. If your building is insured and you have a total loss, part of the process will be to look at aftermath of it and see how that work was done. Building and trade codes are for your safety, don't cheap out. Trained in electronics and experience in home building and remodeling, I could probably do the work. Like I tell those who ask me, I know enough to be dangerous. Narragansett Bay

I look at work and costing the same way. I get Diggers ( excavators ) in to do work as they can shift a huge amount of dirt per hour. Same with a helicopter spraying weeds: he can do a month of my labour, plus tractor expenses, in an hour! Good deal l say. On the flip side I'm about to start building my own house, should save a lot on labour costs, I'm fussy about work quality, and is fun running the project.

Brad Pogue 2023.03.24 - 11:33 pm

I agree on saving the money and do it yourself.

David Thorne 2023.03.24 - 11:34 pm

Hi from the land of oz COLE. If I had to take that mower six miles to a sale I would have mounted it on a tractor just to get rid of the thing Lol. I hope cooper will replace it with the best- Krone trailing mower conditioner. The Europeans are a good 10 years ahead of the Americans in fodder conservation equipment.

The heated seat switch should be behind the seat, on the back side of the seat itself, behind your left arm…

Dirt Boy 2023.03.25 - 12:31 am

Cole, consider putting a geo textile (Mirafi) down before rock, cost a bit, but you won't have to keep redoing it forever!! Especially with semi's.

Charlie Whiskey 2023.03.25 - 1:24 am

You often pay people for what they know, not how long they work. Your contractor also has to buy insurance, pay taxes and hopefully earn a profit.

Stew Puddy 2023.03.25 - 1:38 am

Skilled labor ain't cheap. Cheap labor ain't skilled.

The Munter44 2023.03.25 - 9:00 am

A v10 engine that can't even pull up that little slop – junk it.

Eric Sebina 2023.03.25 - 10:48 am

Are you allowed to have ducks or chickens to eat that fallen corn?

Jeff Thorpe 2023.03.25 - 12:14 pm

Future Project suggestion: fix the end of your equipment shed/bard. It looks like it was nibbled on by a giant beaver. I cringe ever time I see it. I know it's my problem, my OCD.

Mrbink01 2023.03.25 - 3:50 pm

You may think paying someone else to do a job is highway robbery but you also need to consider the opportunity cost of lost time that you could be doing things that would benefit the farm more.

Fireheart 2023.03.25 - 5:24 pm

when it comes to electrical, if there ever is a fire caused by the electrical, having a receipt to show that it was done by a professional really helps with getting the insurance for it. For bigger electrical jobs and just any connections where its not just putting in a power cord, i would use a electrician.

Tom Cleghorn 2023.03.25 - 5:59 pm

It's always good too so something yourself. But it's always good too pay a skilled tradesperson too do it right
