My Boy Kasuki for a moment there got triggered again by Miri's mom. Again another woman dying. I did not expect things to go down like this, but wow. This show seriously has been way better than I expected it to be over and over again. I hope we get a season 2.
And here I was already thinking on how all four of them would live together happily together😢

I am sorry, that was f**ked up. Time to whack Rei's father. That was too cruel of a episode. Love Buddy Daddies though.
Rei's father has to go!!Period! there's no way he's gonna ever have a change of heart so, for Rei and Kazuki and Miri to be safe and live their lives, he has to go. I love that it's Rei to make the decision to stay, protect MIri and don't run away from their family, coz Kazuki was ready to just give up; Rei is the one who wants to change the most and was ready to do anything in order to protect Miri (he even told his father that, he was ready to throw his life and be his father's dog just to keep Miri safe). I'm dying to know what happens next week!!!

Rei's father is a 100% complete scumbag. Like bro, Rei was distancing himself from Miri, everything was gonna go back to "assassin normal". And you still want to kill her for sentiment? That man has NO chill!!
There was so much effed up sh*t this episode, like holy hell.
But you know, I'm glad Rei's lighter broke at just the right time. I'm so proud of our boy who was a literal chain smoker one year ago for just stopping for Miri.
Also after watching I realized… that Rei's father is probably so effed up and was still thinking of the old Rei, the one who accepted his shitty life because he had literally never even experienced positive emotions before Kazuki before Miri, that he probably expected Rei to kill them when he said "Need to tie up your affairs." back in episode 8. Only after investigating him and seeing that Rei clearly had an actual connection with them the father decided he would have to take care of that himself. It's kind of ironic that that ended up being his real mistake and now he lost his precious heir forever.

This kid is gonna be so confused when she grows up. Just imagine finding out that your parents, who you spent your whole life with, murdered your real dad and caused the death of your mother. Your real father died while holding you hostage, and you mother, who turned over a new leaf, was killed by a hitman trying to get to you

Rei's dad is a certified doofus. His son was ready and willing to take up the family business, and he decides to pick the option that will ensure that his only heir will certainly go against him.
Although it's been portrayed in fiction numerous times before, Miri asking where her mother was squeezed a tear out of me. Why do these series need to have sad things in it? Muh escapism!
They need to make a second season of buddy daddies, and give it its own manga, this series is so well written imo that it deserves a second season!!

That..that was darker than expected although that killed and Rei’s dad are truly coldblooded and irredeemable scum. Collecting last words without any emotions. They pulled an I want to eat your pancreas on us. Lots of flags. But still they make some great originals that are experimental. I think it’s a good recommendation for some anime fans. It feels like they must kill the boss and fake their deaths. She didn’t lie in her final moments at least despite her past
