MORNING MOTIVATION | Listen When You Wake Up & Start Your Day Right

I already commented on this video on Facebook but I wanted to comment on it here as well because it's video affected deeply this morning. My entire life I have settled for average because I feared I couldn't do any better than that. Now I am 65 years old and I am not saying that it's too late for me now , but I've wasted so many years. I shared this video on my Facebook page and I wrote extensively on how this video spoke to me today in the hope that I can help someone else. Thank you Eddie!

Love Eddies work. My goals are so large that I need daily encouragement to push past obstacles. I like to think about my goals before bed. My brain automatically gives me the myriad of reasons why it won’t work, then I spend the rest of the night creating and dreaming up ways to overcome each of those reasons. In the morning I feel I may have it. Doubt and fear try to pull me back, but listening to Eddie’s talks upon rising reassure me that I am living my purpose.
This talk struck me to comment because of the fact that as I’ve achieved my goals the flack and negativity has been challenging. Loved yes, hated by some is the challenge. I have to contend with random people that when they learn what I am doing share negative comments because their reptilian brian doesnt want change.
100 years ago people were really hostile towards the introduction of the automobile.
The president of Michigan savings bank advising Henry Ford’s lawyer not to invest in Ford motor company in 1903 stated “the horse is here to stay, but the automobile is only a novelty – a fad.“
People don’t want to change. But Change is inevitable.
We are living in a time of tremendous opportunity. The sky is the limit. When I was younger I used to think that it would have been so amazing to live in the 1920s because I saw that the people living at that time had tremendous opportunity to create our future.
I thought I could have taken the opportunities they had and I would have had success. Now I am in my 40’s I realize that the opportunities that exist now are far greater.
I love Eddies bird analogy about how the bird navigates gusts of wind. It feels as though I am flying directly into the eye of a storm, but I realized this morning thats not it. I am actually flying away from the storm towards the sun and clear blue skies. The storm is at my tail feathers trying to suck me in. I’m not going to let it. I am going to fly as high up as I can and let faith carry me. The storm is my tailwind propelling me to heights never before imagined. When I arrive at my destination then I will know that the path I took was providence. Everything it my life has led me to this exact moment, and as improbable as it is that I even alive, there is reason for it. With God all things are possible, and listening to Eddie every morning also helps. One is the proof!

In life you can live to chase opportunity or you can live to avoid failure. That is a keeper
