I think the only "funny" thing this episode was seeing just how terrible of a hitman Kazuki actually is.
REALLY makes me wonder how he got into this business to begin with. He really is not suited for it at all, with his big heart and all, and apparently his terrible aim lol
I really do like this episode… but really, what are they gonna do now? And above all what JOBS are they gonna do? Pretty sure anything that requires social interaction is out of the question for Rei lol
And true, Kazuki had already given up, but in episode 10 and again in this one, it's actually Rei snapping Kazuki out of it and making him focus on the important things.
When the mom apologized to Miri saying she made her lonely, I felt like she meant that she didnt fully gave her all as a mother and so Miri seek the love of a father from 2 stranger dudes (Kazuki and Rei) so thats why she apologized when Miri said Rei and Kazuki are her papas and it really made me cry in that scene
I also didnt expect this to turn out this way but yeah Kazuki and Rei needs to do something to swipe away that organization cuz for sure they wont just let them go and play the family role
I know this will be a happy ending because in a first episode first scene they were all together like a happy family
