Hello there, on this day, we honor the life and legacy of CC-9902 aka, Tech. From the Star Wars Clone Wars battle of Anaxes, to the Bad Batch era of Clone Force 99, we thank you for your service as a trooper, and a friend. And yes…he thought it was obvious.
I would probably be more surprised if he stayed dead than if he returned, after all its disney and they love pulling that off, i dont mind though, tech is my favourite character in the entire series
An evil imperial scientist likes experimenting on clones and stuff, wouldn’t he like to experiment on a (possibly) deceased clone? After all he did go out of his way just to find Tech’s goggles so maybe he also took techs body, what I’m saying is what if we get an imperial clone of tech that’s painful for the bad batch to fight because of witnessing him fall?
I know people are probably just doing it because they're in denial but we need to stop with all the "Tech lives" theories. Some characters just need to stay dead. Imagine how much more impactful the story of Gregor would be if his original death wasn't ret-conned. Plus we already did the "back from the dead" storyline with Echo in the Bad Batch so redoing it would just be redundant
Im not gonna lie, I always thought that if and when one of the Bad Batch members were gonna die, I was almost certain Wrecker would've been the first to go. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy. But i could easily see him making a sacrifice similar to what Gregor did in Clone Wars.
"Understanding you does not mean I agree with you" Tech
RIP, you were one of the only cartoon characters I could relate to. Tech probably understood people don't want to necessarily have people agree with them, they just want to be understood.
You can clearly see a difference in his behavior in the first battle and their Clone Wars episodes compared the rest of the episodes. In those few episodes he seems to be enjoying himself way more. He has hobbies, makes jokes, toys with clankers before he kills them etc.
All the members became a bit more serious (including Wrecker although it less obvious with him because of he's still the most joyful of them all if he isn't complaining about something).
I kinda didn't notice this until I started to see a bunch of character edits pop up on YouTube about Crosshair and Tech.
So you you can see that Order 66, the Galaxy changing around them, Crosshair leaving, being fugitives etc all while they are having an existential crisis because they as the elite of the elite of the elite soldiers are working as mercinaries for scum that doesn't respect them while failing at their job.
I'm really torn on this one. On the one hand, I love Tech, he's a great character, and I DON'T want him to be dead. But at the same time I feel like there's only so many times you can do the "fake out death" thing and have it mean something. Off the top of my head in Star Wars there's been Maul, Ahsoka, Echo, Gregor, Leia, Chewbacca, Reva, and the Grand Inquisitor. I know there's been a lot of characters killed for good, but I still don't think that balances out the fake outs. So for the sake of the story, I hope Tech stays dead. Unless they find a REALLY good way to bring him back.

First step: Watch Video.
Second step: Lay down and try not to cry.
Third step: Cry a lot.

o7 Tech, you will be missed. Great vid Nicholas.
Star Wars never explicitly show dead bodies, one person besides Tech still needs death confirmation is Mace Windu

I hope tech is alive, but it might just be the copium kicking in.

There is no Bad Batch without Tech 😢
