This was a really good video. You hit all of my thought I was having comparing the old Trigun to the new trigun. I will admit that I was very against the new one when it just came out but the more I watched and the story progressed the more it made sense for this anime's direction. Great video!
I feel like when Stampede is finished a lot more people will be making the FMA vs FMA Brotherhood sort of comparisons.
Like, most people will agree that FMA Brotherhood is overall better…. Except in certain instances like how the original FMA handled Shou and Nina Tucker. FMA Brotherhood could have gone into as much detail covering that story beat, but why retell that story when they wanted to spend their time/budget getting to aspects of the story that had not been covered yet?
I'm excited to see how they're going to introduce Millie in the second season, and how they're going to carry the show forward. I really loved the original Trigun anime, and at times I feel like the pacing on Stampede has been a bit off, but at the same time it really made the world of Trigun feel alive for me in a way that the old show did not.
