Lmao why did the texas note guy turn down an offer of 650k from a random guy and gonna ask 650k at the pawn shop 😂

suttonmatthew 2023.04.20 - 7:09 am

That’s the point, even the experts don’t deal with an obscure collectable.

Orcinus1967 2023.04.20 - 7:44 am

I took a crap that had a mix of two rare species of corn in it, while I was in Texas. I valued it at $650, 000, and put it up for sale on eBay. I was evaluated by 3 psychiatrists and kept for 72 hours. eBay sent the stool to one of their critics.

Seller: I could buy your house with this!
Rick: I’ll give you $100

Wait, the guy appraised it at 6500, and the guy was offered 65000?

Are we positive the offerer just didn't mistyped two zeros?

todd 2023.04.20 - 5:05 pm

"Could I have 4 quarters for this 1 dollar bill?" Rick ' "best i can do is .75 cents, I'm taking a risk….."

todd 2023.04.20 - 5:13 pm

"Thought I had an item that was worth more money…." – 90% of all pawn star customers

Orcinus1967 2023.04.20 - 6:08 pm

"I paid more than that". Well that's your problem.

Orcinus1967 2023.04.20 - 6:32 pm

If you truly want to test if a coin is real, you need to know the composition of the metal. That means taking a piece off, or using XFD (X-ray Diffraction) technology or something like that. Coins are commonly faked, and very well faked at that. This one looks too good to be true at 2200 years old. I'm not buying that just by looking at it through a loupe, one could say it's definitively an ancient Roman era coin.

Sunnytales 2023.04.20 - 6:58 pm
