I loved it ngl
Check out Land of the Lustrous, one of the best CG anime ever.
Trigun looks interesting, planning to watch the 90s version and stampede
Was a big fan of the original growing up, and it's a part of my life. I didn't watch past episode 4 since I couldn't feel the flow of the story. Plus, I don't think replacing Milly with the reporter boss guy was good. Milly is an iconic character that is loved.
Others my feel different, but I don't think the story and characters needed to be redone as there was nothing I really think that needed to be fixed from the original.
(I'm comparing animes, not manga. Don't hate me, just my opinion).
I only watched the first episode, the changes with backstop being in the beginning and Rem seeming to die for no reason and not stopping the other ships from crashing just turned me off from watching it. The action looked good but the was also the design of Vash that I couldn't look at without saying, "Why?"
Always glad to hear your honest opinions, especially about anime that you’re so passionate about. 🤘😎💗
Well og trigun the characters barely move and there isnt that much chprepgraphy its more chibi funny with good effects
Trigun stampede not only are charcters more lively with better animation but effects and amazing space object movement s are dome of best ever
Studio orange is best 3d animation studio from japan
Who jave produced land of lustrous and beastars which mostly contain anthromorphous beings and animals respectively
And most of og trigun anime is full of fillers in first place this goes straight to the plot with obviously changes but still in terms of animation and insane canera movement is advantage you get with cg
Its much harder to do it in 2d backgrounds or 2d character models qho feel out of place when not focused preoperly
By how Stampede structured introducing the overall worldbuilding lore. You may think it's given heavy and fast. The manga actually goes down more heavier especially when the manga went from a Shonen series then to be rebranded as Trigun Maximum in a "Seinen" magazine.
It's like it removes the bars holding back Nightow when working for a shonen series and went ham when it was made seinen.
Stampede, though a new take on trigun basically still follows and establishes basically what is gonna go down in the story of the manga. It
Stampede also does a good thing of giving you a good chunk of idea of what is the deal with the planet and Plant-human relationship since its gonna get wilder from then on.
To give a clearer idea comparison, basically Stampede is trying to do a "Berserk Golden Age arc" type of thing in giving you an expanded backstory arc.
Since Trigun is a "post July incident story". Stampede gives you something to hone on for as to why Vash is acting like he do, why Knives is barely in the OG anime timeline, why Legato has a vendetta against Vash.
You're sleeping on land of the lustrous Ryan
Glad Ryan gave this a chance, I loved the way they made it a prequel and how menacing Knives was portrayed.
