How do you transfer your Apple Cash into your savings account?
If Apple was really smart they would raise cash back percentages. Apple products 4%, apple pay 3%, and apple card 2%. This is what I want Apple to do.
Great content! Can you help us understand bond ladders and if you suggest going that route with your prediction of a recession. thx 🙂
I don’t have options to savings in Apple Wallet
Maybe I didn't catch it but instead of transferring your money into a linked bank account you can simply transfer it to the Apple Cash card and spend your money from there.
It has been a long time since I saw a pure white credit card image! It changes colors every time you use it. Not the physical card of course. Good content!
Thanks for the timely video as I have been actively researching. You remind me of the late "William" Bill Husted (Technobuddy), journalist who wrote tech/computer articles in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution for 3 decades. I'm deliberating the merits of signing up for this high APR Credit Card just to qualify to get the tentitative 4.15% Savings Acct. The only problem is I use an new Android S22 Ultra as my primary phone. While I have an old Iphone7Plus (which I can currently still tether using plan's hotspot sharing), Iphone7's software ios 15.7.3+ updates may eventually sunset from allowing AppleWallet/ApplePay like it's done recently for some apps. So if Apple Wallet is not available on Android devices, would it be possible to add an ApplePay Credit Card # to Google Pay and still have POS purchases recognized as ApplePay and get the 3% Cashback from select merchants like Walgreens, T-Mobile, NIKE store, UBER, etc paying 3% ApplePay? I believe Google Wallet (and SamsungPay) restrict adding a competiting card/service's card resorting to having to use the physical card.
Your video quality is pristine
Nice video. I liked how you broke down how the components within the wallet relate.
Here’s my Game Changer: USAA pays .01% APY on Savings deposits of $10,000 or more. I receive approximately $0.23 or $0.25 per month interest (i.e., $1.72 last year). An APY calculator I found online indicated that I would be earning over $1,200 per year on my current balance at an APR of 4.07%, which comes out to an APY of 4.15%. I already had an Apple Credit Card set up, so I opened the Savings as soon as I heard about it and am in the process of making transfers from USAA over the course of the next couple of weeks. If you read the fine print, you can only transfer a certain amount per day and a certain total amount over the course of a rolling 7 day period, but for this improvement, I can afford to be a bit patient. I’ve been skeptical of the online banks that have been offering high-yield savings products, but since I have had a good experience over the last few years with the card issued by Goldman Sachs, I feel a bit more confident that this is actually being managed by a real bank.
Thank you for the walkthrough. I had no issues. 4.15% is a lot better than 0.
Thank you, William! You are passing very helpful information in a clear and straightforward way, Excellent 🙂
Hoping they add buckets like ALLY has.
I didn’t get that option.
