Thorfinn is still growing. So far he has not definitive answer for how to become the true warrior or how to go about his new approach on life. Thats why he is succumbing to fists right now. He knows no better option at the moment. This might not be the path that leads to be the True Warrior but its the best option he found right now so he can keep moving forward. He hasn't reached the peace of mind Thors has and he will not do it overnight. Thats why he is fighting Snake right now
I think Thorfin may go down the path of only fighting if he has to, a last resort to help others. I think he may have another ‘vision’/memory where he sees his dad and his dad speaks some knowledge about what it is to be a true warrior and when not to fight etc. after all he was the best and I think we should be seeing more of him tbh. It would have been a cool scene if not only askalaad was there but also Thors, almost like a devil and angel on the shoulder kinda thing
come to think about it, dagger stance is the only one that can still be used in a fight even without a weapon. not sure if it's foreshadowing, but the fact that it goes so perfectly with thorfinn's current mindset is insane to me.
I didn't get excited when thorfinn took fighting stance I was literally feeling so bad this man is going thru so much trying to leave everything but can't seem to do it. Violence always comes back. I hope he doesn't fight and I don't get why ppl want to see him fight give him rest guys
Yes, Snake's sword is from the Middle East, probably of arabic origin… Vikings did reach the Eastern Roman Empire (Constantinople) and called it Miklagard, serving as mercenaries. Snake must be one of the vikings that fought in the Middle East and that's how he got that sword.
About Snake sword even to me it really looked alike this type of swords from the Ottoman empire or the bizantyn empire like back in those days in Constantinople thanks for Assassin's Creed for my history knowledge 😂😂😂
Sverkal's comment about Snake's sword has popped up a theory by many. It's speculated Snake is not from Northern or Western Europe but somewhere from Easter Europe (notably from the Balkans) where the Byzantine Empire still ruled. Snake was in some sort of high ranking position in that army (the army itself was pretty diverse with soilders ranging from Greeks, Arabs, Turks, Bulgarians and several others). So Snake could've stole this sword from a comrade of his in the army and possibly did something so unforgiving that he was exiled to Northern Europe. The sword itself looks like a Middle Eastern sword.
"I've seen those kind of swords before. I think when I played Prince of Persia… they're from what nation. I can't think of the nation right now." You just said it my man 😅
