The saga continues as award-winning filmmaker Denis Villeneuve embarks on “Dune: Part Two,” the next chapter of Frank Herbert’s celebrated novel Dune, with an expanded all-star international ensemble cast. The film, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2021’s six-time Academy Award-winning “Dune.”
The big-screen epic continues the adaptation of Frank Herbert’s acclaimed bestseller Dune with returning and new stars, including Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet (“Wonka,” “Call Me by Your Name”), Zendaya (“Spider-Man: No Way Home,” “Malcolm & Marie,” “Euphoria”), Rebecca Ferguson (“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning”), Oscar nominee Josh Brolin (“Avengers: End Game,” “Milk”), Oscar nominee Austin Butler (“Elvis,” “Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood”), Oscar nominee Florence Pugh (“Black Widow,” “Little Women”), Dave Bautista (the “Guardians of the Galaxy” films, “Thor: Love and Thunder”), Oscar winner Christopher Walken (“The Deer Hunter,” “Hairspray”), Stephen McKinley Henderson (“Fences,” “Lady Bird”), Léa Seydoux (the “James Bond” franchise and “Crimes of the Future”), with Stellan Skarsgård (the “Mamma Mia!” films, “Avengers: Age of Ultron”), with Oscar nominee Charlotte Rampling (“45 Years,” “Assassin’s Creed”), and Oscar winner Javier Bardem (“No Country for Old Men,” “Being the Ricardos”).
“Dune: Part Two” will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.
Villeneuve directed from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jon Spaihts based on Herbert’s novel. The film is produced by Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Villeneuve, Tanya Lapointe and Patrick McCormick. The executive producers are Josh Grode, Herbert W. Gains, Jon Spaihts, Thomas Tull, Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt, Kim Herbert, with Kevin J. Anderson serving as creative consultant.
Villeneuve is again collaborating with his “Dune” creatives: Oscar-winning director of photography Greig Fraser; Oscar-winning production designer Patrice Vermette; Oscar-winning editor Joe Walker; Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor Paul Lambert; Oscar-nominated costume designer Jacqueline West. Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer is again on hand to create the score.
“Dune: Part Two” was filmed on location in Budapest, Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Italy. The film is slated for a November 3, 2023 worldwide release from Warner Bros. Pictures.

CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The dialogue could be better but I'll take it. I enjoyed the first movie, again the the dialogue was and could be better as far as the script is concerned with the writing. I think these actors can do much better especially the stilgar character, The actor from no country for old men I forget his name, but overall I'm happy that we have dune movies.

…. and sound is so important in this wonderful show ….
everything is so perfect….incredible! the eyes and the ears take a lot, what impatience now, the first chapter was overwhelming, the second promises at least as much. Let's hope that Villeneuve doesn't stop there…. with Hans Zimmer's music….. better than the products that turn your brain…. and it's legal. I will see this trailer at least a hundred times….
I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!! IT LOOKS AWESOME!!!!!!!
fun facts – denis villeneuve never read dune novels
I'm soooo happy part 2 is finally coming out. I'm watching part 1 this weekend
"May thy Knife chip and shatter."
Bro , what is the biggest IMAX in India ? I am booking a ticket
LETS GO!
I’m all in!
When trailer is more intresting than actual film ha ha ha. Same with part one.
To me, this has just a hunger games vibe
"Dune" is not only fights. If make only fighting action movie, then this is for fools.
I know this is about the second part. I have seen the first part and it was killing it. The only thing IMHO that kind of was missing in comparison to the David Lynch version was the "Mindspeach" where one got a little bit about the inner workings and thoughts of the characters.
Ah Dune part 1 was an excellent piece of art, I can’t wait for part 2, looking very promising! Thanks Denis!
Visually stunning, but if Part 2 is like Part 1, dialogue delivery will fall flat in comparison to David Lynch version…will I still see it, of course!
Anyone agree with me?
Something that I don't think people recognize is truly terrifying about the final shot of every Fremen saluting Paul: Fremen culture dictates that once a crysknife is unsheathed, it cannot be sheathed again before drawing blood. Every person in that horde has vowed to spill Harkonnen blood just by unsheathing their knives.
Nov 3rd? Damn.
the sleeper has awoken
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes!!!!!!!!!!
❤
Boy … that whole "you can swim in water but not sand thing …" that was a key scene!
Public protests are for people with guns if you can figure out how to get noisy online not really working since you need to hide sometimes
