Cyclops I think is deceptively S tier with thing and hulk. Thing is often a 4/9 while cyclops is more often than not a 3/8 in this deck. It's a crazy swing.
I hit infinite from 93 in the space of an hour with High Evo. It's nuts.
Not a fan of them making him a trash stat card that you dont want to draw. it really discourages me from upgrading his card or getting a variant for him if im never going to play him on the field

Really grateful you took the time to make a great video after the release. So many channels put out clickbait videos the minute the patch went out, but I’d way rather wait and get a higher-quality video with some actual playtime supporting the info.
2:52 This is the same mistake people make when talking about Sunspot being a 1/5 or whatever. Cyclops doesn't become a 3/6 or a 3/8, he becomes a 4/6 or a 5/8, you're spending extra energy to get that power (synergies between those "unspent energy" cards does offset that though).
it's crazy to me how misty knight as a potential 1/5 or higher is the worst of the bunch

Oh I completely missed the info that High Evolutionary is a Big Bad, thanks for specifying that Cozy. I had Iron Lad pinned because I think he'll be fun, but I guess I'll just go High Evo then (if I can get my hands on 200 more tokens in the next 4 days, which should be doable).

I'm still 400 tokens shy of getting Hi Evo but i've had pretty good sucess against him with a pretty standard discard deck. Dropped Luke Cage in the flex spot but rarely play him
Cyclops is a baller in this deck imo he can really make a nebula or sunspot lane almost null and void, I would argue that Shocker is the least valuable one in the deck and Misty is decent but each to their own, I guess it also depends on how much energy you leave over each turn and what kind of a deck you are running but she can give a decent amount of power to other cards while Shocker just reduces the cost of the card in the leftmost side of your hand one time which is a bit meh depending on the card. I think it's clear we value different play styles though for HE and I admit I haven't experimented with too many decks outside of a base HE and a control version but Shocker being higher than Misty and Cyclops given the value they can provide seems weird to me and I have a hard time agreeing with your rankings there. Like I said though each to their own, we all value cards differently depending on the playstyle and you've probably tested more decks with him than I have so far.
My biggest issue so far is all the whiners calling for nerfs on the first day of his release, I'm seeing it on nearly every video about high Evo and it's probably mostly from people that didn't save their tokens to buy him, I've been saving mine since I first heard about him and would be pretty pissed if the first 6k new release card I bought gets nerfed right off the bat. I think we should wait a bit and see how the meta and counters develop before we start whining like a petulant child and calling for nerfs. Is it possible a few nerfs might need to happen in the future? absolutely but things are new and fresh right now and it usually takes a while for solid counters to come into play so people should really chill for a bit.

Lost every match against him so far. If they spend 3 out of 4 power, all the abilities still go off. Might be a little too strong imo so far.
I have saved 6000 tokens. Now I got High Evo & Ironlad both in the shop. Please HELP!!! Which one should I buy?? I don’t want to regret later 😂 This is like my once in a lifetime moment 😅
Deck is easly countered by luke and chi, waste of 6k tbh, they never should have made him a big bad, he is a archatype changing card he should be insta series 3 so f2p ppl have more possibilities. The only 6k worthy card is still galactus everything else can easly be dumped into series 4 and 3.
Cyclos in B? Feel like it's my best card aside hulk and abom every time
Tonight has been NOTHING BUT HIGH EVO! Its wild. I cant even enjoy mine cause it's a mirror match
Cyclops is just crazy , unspent energy inflicts -1 to 2 enemies
My preliminary ranking of High Evo cards:
7. The Thing: Definitely not bad, will be way better once less Luke Cages, but the fact that he’s 4 cost and likely will only reduce 2 cards’ power means he’s really not as effective for reducing abom as other way cheaper options
6. Shocker: Feels really strong, but is also incredibly hit or miss, feels like this one could go up, but I swear I always get high Evo or something bad stuck in the left position which is worthless to reduce
5. Wasp: Really solid, good value, just not quite as strong right now with Luke Cage. Also haven’t tried new Jane Jaw yet
4. Misty Knight: kinda slept on imo. The left over energy build is better than reduced energy build rn, which Misty knight is great for. If you get her down on turn 1 or 2 you can get her to 1-6 or 1-7 in value, also she can help boost filled up locations
3. Abomination: could be 1 with less Lukes cuz he’s basically a variation on She-Hulk (best 6-cost)
2. Cyclops: deceptively fantastic. Gets amazing value for a 3-cost, best activator for Abom of secret ability cards, and can also sneakily decrease enemy power on a filled locations. Honestly might be 1 once there is less Luke
1. Hulk: Smash
Also, the only thing I dislike about High Evo is how weak his base card is. I love his card art and it sucks never being incentivized the play him. Even as a 4-5 or 4-6 playing him would still be a trade off since he has no on play effect and would mean you can’t play other cards. I get that he is meant to be weak as being a worthless card to balance how strong the other cards are, but honestly a power or two more would really not make the deck that much better imo
With the new way they are handling the season drops there is really no reason not to buy this guy. Sure you can get lad instead but that card may drop eventually and this guy is a "big bad" no value loss for him. Offers lots of strategies and ways to play.
No one wants to hear it but 3/4 series 3 complete and no luke cage, she hulk or lockjaw even tho I have the tokens

My favorite thing about the secret abilities that they turned Hulk into a full-out angry power machine, and Cyclop’s beaming constantly – both cards got the respect they deserved!!

Agreed that Hi Evo. Is worth 6K. Evo. Hulk was deciding factor for me. Finally, he feels good to play, as should be in a Marvel game. Recommend. (Caveat: Hi Evo. decks won’t be top all the time otherwise it’d be boring. Expect that.)

In the Moon copy deck, isn’t it worth it to replace misty knight and coulson for wasp and abomination for a potential higher last turn swing?
Almost every person i play against has HE but very few of them actually run or play the hulk. I threw taskmaster with psylocke in there and wham the game is decided on T5
