“The Ice Guy And His Cool Female Colleague” isn’t your typical romcom anime. It is about a guy named Himuro who is a descendant of a snow woman yokai. As such he has ice magic powers that instead of making his life better, it creates unfortunate events in his daily life such as creating a mini storm whenever he gets too excited or literally getting frozen when he gets anxious before his first day at a new job. Which is exactly how he meets who would soon be his new coworker, Fuyutsuki, a woman notable for her cool personality. The anime is full of all of your typical romcom tropes. I was hesitant to watch the first episode, but I am glad I did.
