This is A2 origin story
Lily recognise similarity between A2 and 2B from first sight. That is why she was so resilient to work together with Yourha

I actually wasn't a fan of this episode, it may be because it came out the same week as a similar episode in Danmachi, but I just kept thinking about how much better it was done there.
I didn't feel the emotions this episode, they felt unearned, which makes sense because it was directed by the same person who did the 86, which is a show I also very much did not care for for exactly the same reasons.
In general I think the mystery of why Lily seemed so disturbed around 2b (which I thought was going to be related to something else which is spoilery), was more interesting then the straight forward in your face explanation we got this episode, so that was kind of a let down.
This game will definitely break you though, it's one of my favorite 3 games of all time. But this episode just, wasn't for me. Also, I wonder why they switched the surviving member from Anamone to Lily, that was really random.

No 9S hack and Lily's memories are completely different. 9S hack is a reference to the first Nier game.

Didn't expect them to adapt A2 origin story. Oh A2 my beloved, she deserves more love.
The reason Anenome has to stay behind with the logic virused no.21 I think is; 1. That lift is an evac spot to defend and 2. You're not just gonna leave an infected friend behind. You either die fighting with them or you put a bullet in them yourself. If memory serves she stays behind to take care of her in this way.
Talking about A1 and emotional moments. All the Nier vets have one moment that when it comes up it's going to be like that one torture scene meme "Wait, wait wait wait…no no no no no!"

They managed to put the A2 stage play and the wall text into the episode. I’m thoroughly impressed.
The logic virus scene was too visceral and painful to watch. Having played the game… I say this is a precursor of things to come. I’ll just sit back and watch everyone’s responses while eating my bowl of popcorn.
I also loved how they included the symbolism with the blindfold visors. It’s definitely one of those show don’t tell symbolism. Again, interpret the blindfold visor as what you may. There are a few ways of interpreting it and I won’t say that your interpretation is wrong… but it’s a definite way of viewing those blindfold visors
Solo Leveling was delayed to next year, since it would share some of the same staff as Nier Automata and this show will take a lot longer than they were initially planning.
Mashle is handled by a different team at A-1 Pictures so it's still coming in April.

Since the anime did not mention it i'd like to point that Lily was made for was 'pleasure' she was a prostitute model that was made for high ranking officials that is the meaning behind tha scene where there were naked androids…. Rose was the one who saved Lily from there

You probably know by now that they change the resistance leader from anemone to lily in the anime. The story is the same up until they decent to the elevator. Anemone stay with number 21 while the other decent the elevator with bomb to destroy the server. The Bomb made the elevator caved in if I'm not mistaken. Number 21 ask a mercy kill from Anemone since no one can cure her from the virus. So that is why Anemone survived. Yoko Taro change that and make Lily survived and became the resistance leader. So I'm hoping they will give more context on what happened down there. And really hoping they give us more story for number 2 before she met 2B and 9S

Lily is supposed to die instead of Anemone. In the Stage play, after 21 cured Lily's virus, Lily gained gravity wave(same as the enemy's ability), and with that, she insisted to be left behind to hold the enemies as that is all she can do to help them along with Daisy, Dahlia, Gerbera, and 16, where they self-destructed themselves to stop the Goliath-class going to the elevator. Also in the stage play, Anemone asked 21 why she cannot remove the virus in her, and 21 said the enemy adapted YoRHa's pattern already, making it harder for 21 to cure herself, so Anemone killed her as soon as they reached their destination.
I was surprised when I heard A2's high pitch voice lol. A2 is an earlier model of 2B. A2 ftw!
In the game, Anemone is still alive so normally, she should still be around.
Calling a traumatized child with massive survivor's guilt a "dumb-ass bitch" is a really shitty take.
