I’ve been a fan of Trigun since Toonami. I try to revisit the series once ever few years so I’ve been a little hyped about Trigun Stampede. But did it deliver? Honestly… yea! There’s plenty of space to drop the ball but so far I’m impressed. If you havent checked out the original anime, it still holds up pretty well.

Cool video, glad you enjoyed this new episode like I did.
To give a little clarity on the old series and the manga. The original series had alot of anime only stuff cause it aired with the 1st few years of the manga coming out. The manga ended continuing till 2007, almost a full decade past when the OG aired. So there's alot of stuff they can tap into story wise with this new Stampede. I'm excited to see what they do.
I LOVED Trigun back in the day, so I am very iffy on the new one. With Johnny Yong Bosch coming back for the dub though I will wait till that drops in a week
The Plants are energy, they use them to fuel space ship, after the ships crashed they used them to survive on Gunsmoke because the planet is so barren and hostile to human life, the towns were built around crashed spaceships and functioning plants, some were better preserved than others.
The Trigun Maximum manga is way more mature and violent, the story does places and I hope Stampede gives us a look at that, Beastars also went places so we know they can do it.
