I don’t like the way Casey mcquniston writes their books, I think the writing is immature and even tryhard or lazy at times. That being said, the plot/story of rwrb is one of my favourite ones ever and I love love LOVE the movie. But yeah I think the way they write is cringe and to be honest kind of childish it gives me second hand embarrassment😶
Have you read The Idea Of You? It’s another fan fiction-like book, and they’re making a movie starring Anne Hathaway and… 🥁 the guy who plays Henry in rwrb. He’s in 2 fanfiction movies lol, but he’s a great actor.
