Trigun Stampede is the newest anime to drop that is utilizing CGI versus traditional animating methods. Normally these shows flop but Trigun has persevered becoming the best full CGI anime I have ever witnessed. It is single handedly making history by stating to everyone that CGI doesn’t have to be bad. From good CGI, to story telling, to unique characters its all here.

It's really interesting hearing someone's perspective on Stampede that hasn't seen the OG anime! I'm glad you're enjoying it so far, and here's hoping the series maintains this quality all the way to the end, if just to stick it to all the fans blinded by nostalgia that keep saying Stampede is the worst show ever made. 🤞

Honestly i usually never like cgi but this is really really good 😳
The directors basically said "Alright. You know Trigun Stampede and you love it. Now what we'll do is throw away everything you knew about Trigun! You want Trigun? We'll give you Trigun!"
I don’t know what to say. I’m just impressed with this anime since a lot of cgi in anime are usually looked down upon and for good reason, but HOLY HECK the animating, clarity, lighting, everything! This anime really took cgi in anime to the next level.
Its so fascinating hearing someone who's never seen/read Trigun say that Stampede is very slowing giving the audience info/withholding a lot of info, when a lot of og fans have been saying the opposite. Either way, it's so awesome to hear that people are enjoying the new version! I'm definitely having a blast and can't wait for more Stampede episodes!!
Would still recommend checking out the og anime/reading the manga tho, they're both great imo
Without being hyperbolic, this series has the best cel-shaded animation I've seen since Into the Spider-verse. As an die hard fan of the original anime and manga, I find it thrilling to not know what's going to happen next. The fact that Johnny Yong Bosch is coming back in the dub is just icing on the cake.
Damn… To be honest I'm kinda saddend to hear that this was your first Trigun experience. This anime is really good and top notch, but this is definitely not a entry title to the series. This adaptation blows all the mystery and build up, in the original it took like 6-7 episodes before you even catch onto the fact Vash even had a brother, but in this it just tells you everything upfront in the first 3 minutes…
Stampede was also my introduction to Trigun! I watched the original because I loved the first two Stampede episodes and needed to know more
I highly recommend the OG anime and I hope Stampede will be good or at least a very fun watch

i'm not subscribing until YOU watch the '98 anime and know how big of a deal this reboot is on remaking the secret 5th pilar of the greatest animes of all time

Ok people might coming at me for this but having watched the original adaptation of trigun first I think the new show is actually better. The cinematography especially is so damn good and the cgi looks incredible… sure we dont have characters like Millie in it but its also pre July, so who knows maybe shell show up eventually. Personally I like the faster pace and darker tone quite a lot and the soundtrack slaps too
