nice reaction ^.^, I loved this episode so much, this show is awesome with storytelling
I absolutely love the purposeful slow pace of this season. Even though not much happens, the things that do are impactful and the episodes still feel like they pass in the blink of an eye. It's a double edged sword because it makes the wait unbearable.

The book on "Snake's" face as he was asleep is the Bible(harkening to the Christianization of N. Europe)BTW..
What makes it even more tragic is that Thorfinn was like 5 when he left his family and he’s in his early 20’s or so now. He probably only has a handful of memories left from that time.
Think back to how much you can remember from that age. He only spent 5 years as a normal child and now 14+ years as either a warrior or slave.
Not to mention during that time the closest relationship he had with anyone was Askeladd and let’s just say that wasn’t the healthiest relationship lol
