That statement by the director makes more sense than you know. This conversation is going to get political because there is no way around it… The world fully relied on China to make everything in existence. Solar panels, phones, cars, consoles, anything that is a commodity is made in China, whether that it’s literally made in China, or that businesses try to cheat the system and have the parts made in China, then put together the product in country to say it was made here at home. There is no American made, Korean made, Japanese made, it’s all made up. You want to know why the world economy is collapsing? It’s not because of the Ukraine war, it’s because of all the industry relying on slave/child labor. My position is, if you have to stoop so low to keep your business afloat or stay in the profit margins, you shouldn’t be in business. The rich own the worlds wealth because of this and they have no intention on sharing. Smog from China Carrie’s all across the world because the way China let’s the world exploit them. Now with Taiwan’s invasion on the horizon, all chips will be gone. Every single chip factory is in China and Taiwan. We here in the US barely discovered that fact and are now building chip factories… it will take 10 years to build 1 working factory. This is a problem I saw coming way back in the early 2000’s. Now we have to deal with the consequences of all the shipping delays, orders not being complete, companies losing billions, stock market crash, everything.
