I'm genuinely surprised by how much I like this show after I wrote it off initially cuz of 3DCG & change in Vash's character design. I hope more ppl come around to it like I did, but highly unlikely. Ah, well. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
It was a quite sad episode, even with his good nature and actual well intentioned actions, his isolationism and perception has alienated Vash from humans, it can be seen by just how shallow are his relations with those around him, as remarked by Wolfwood, makes him sound and act like a hypocrite.
Also was Rollo there by accident or was he placed there for Vash to find?
as the people who we Know the true nature of wolfwood from past iterations, im loving to seeing how he is still straight to the line of "devil's lawer" that clip near the end were he judges vash for what happened shows how he has a job to do here, he keeps it secretly but seems like also he has some doubts internally, maybe because the origin of the Gung ho guns and the experiences he shares with weaponized childrens and orphans

Oh, man and that shot at the end… 😭😭😭
Nice video. I appreciate you looking into the staff's other works. Utena is excellent, I recommend it.

I felt so bad for Rollo and Vash in this ep.. it's just sad and unfortunate for them both (though I guess Rollo had it worse in this situation)
