Hope you enjoy guys really good first episode today meeting Einar and his family, first apologies I thought beginning from the attack on the farm was a flashback to when it got first attacked as they mentioned but turns out that is in the current, very brutal story for Einar so far though becoming a slave and having to fit into that slave mentality just to survive after a failed escape attempt… Can’t wait to see what his journey holds for us as he meets Thorfinn at the end who is also working at the farm so also looking forward to seeing how that came about but let me know what you thought of this episode in the comment section, great start and great OP and ED also!!

True, rewatching the series I gained more appreciation for Canute's character– I enjoyed the whole aspect of Askeladd bringing about the legend of Artorius through Canute and Canute's whole revelation and stuff was wonderfully done– I still think Askeladd carried s1 but Canute was a surprise in rewatch!
Also Leif (old man) did find thorfinn and was ready to set sail with him but thorfinn got away again when he went to go look for Askeladd in ep 24– then Thorfinn was taken away after his attempt at killing canute and we never see what happened after then so we can assume Leif never saw him after that.
Also the studio change is no big deal, its still the same people and staff that did season 1
Just watched the S2E1 episode. Of course I am a manga reader so, this is anime only content for this episode. I liked it, kind of fleshed out some new characters. Love the OP! Imo, this is really the best arc in the manga. I’m curious to see how the anime handles it. Readers of the manga have legitimate concerns that some anime watchers may not like this arc as it is called the “Farm” arc…. So with that, let’s get our farming on! 🌾⚡️
