They are also flat so if you drop them on the floor and you step on them they don’t roll and make you fall.

You should get heavy-duty suction cups, with hooks, to suction to your cab windows, to hang your radio mics on. That's a lot of space that isn't being used, other than to look out of, and the mics won't take up much view space.

Fuses blowing is a sign that some wire may be grounded or there is a short in one of the lamps. You must find out what is the deal and where a wire is chafing against metal or if something has happened so your live leads are against a metal object or edge. You may need to pull the fuse and measure the wire if it is grounded or not. You may get a different measuring then expected if the electronic cirquit in the lamp gives a false reading, but normally a LED will give very low ground leak. Try to put direct power to the lamp to see if it really is working or has a short cirquit. If there is a short, you will know by the huge spark it will give you.

Well you should have installed all you j trim and base trim ad did layout by snaping lines on the wall for your wood backing and then install next do layout for your panels 3 foot on center top and bottom if there delta span panels doesn't mater what your concrete is doing that's what a transit is for to set a bench mark ofcourse you can adjust for the concrete by looking with your eyeball what looks straight and level to the eyeball is ok but you have to stay within some tolerences along as its not affecting structural integrity then pre drill all your panels lay them out in stacks of 4 every12 feet or so all trim should be installed first than you do layout and cut any panels around doors or windows whatever so when your installing panels you don't have to stop to cut a panel every panel will have a mark top of jtrim bottom on base trim exactly where it goes You can stretch and shrink panels every screw every panel everything has a layout exactly where it goes we drill a stack of panels for each wall knowing exactly where that screw is going to land your wood gives you 3 inches to play with what you want is when you look at the screw pattern eyeballs looking across the screws horizontally pre drilled panels are dead on because we hold are panels slightly of the base trim making the panels level and plum because we start true plum and level and continue to check plum with a iron workers level which extends out to 12 foot or more the longer the panel the longer the level needs to be. Also your panel should not be touching your base trim it does alow for expansion and tends to put unnecessary tension on your base trim.

I would like to know what is going on with the law and your bin site. Seems like lawyers and court should have had their bit finished or are they going to be slower then the builders of the site.

I would have left the wall tin at least a half inch off the floor to prevent potential rust.

As for the lights pull the fuse put a meter in the slots on amperage turn it on and see how much its pulling. If more than your fuse add a relay with its own fuse of a few amps more than it pulls.

Terri Medley 2023.03.07 - 2:22 pm

Nice to see your family at dinner! Nice to see you posting more again.
They make metal snips for drills. I have the makita, but I saw that Dewalt makes one, as well. Makes cutting the tin so much faster and less chance of cutting yourself on the raw metal edges.

Gotta take every chance you get to spend time with the grandparents. As you said, the work will always be there.

tom play's 2023.03.07 - 5:11 pm

The led lights probably need a resistor because it takes so little power to turn them on it’s over loading the fuse and the fuse burns up so I would get a resistor for them

Cole troubleshooting the tractor that blows a fuse when switch is turned on. Check for dead ground in your line somewhere.

Jens Olsen 2023.03.07 - 7:17 pm

I don’t get why you don’t fill up the space behind the tin with insulation 🤔 it’s free space and without filling out that space you are creating room for rodents and other interesting stuff 🤷🏻‍♂️

Carter Nantell 2023.03.07 - 7:55 pm

You should get metal shears. They go on the end of a power drill.

theredguy_official 2023.03.07 - 8:33 pm
