I'd say Sonic Prime's main focuses are, well Sonic obviously- Shadow and Nine.
They seem to have the most development and lore, and they're by far the most interesting characters.
Nine had also been captured by the Chaos Council so he'll definitely play a big role along with Shadow as it seems!
Honestly I feel like Nine may become the shows main villain, as he's unpredictable and has no alliance.
The Chaos Council is a threat, yes, but they just don't seem that.. big of a threat??
And let's not forget Nine literally knows how to travel between Shatter-spaces. Just a random theory, but I really do feel like Nine is going to attempt to try and kill Tails in jealousy or something like that- 💀
My favorite part of season one is the pirate part

I agree Shadow is very under rated as a chracter. I am still looking forward for a possible dark or twsited Sonic.
I just realized the things that came out last year and are coming this year are related to the traveling the multiverse or traveling unexplored places
Seems like both went to one of shatterspaces, into underwater, with shadow take off nine's invention. Still i'm worried about the shard drive and what happen to nine. And what is that wasteland place?

It’s nice to see that Shadow will have a bigger role in this new batch of episodes, the question is;
Are they releasing the last 16 episodes in one day and when exactly will it release?
The only thing I was disappointed with sonic prime was not enough shadow screen time and the cliffhanger on season 1
0:50 – Agreed. Given that Sonic cartoons generally tend to end on unresolved cliffhangers, it left a bad taste in my mouth (to the point where I made it my DMOS for the Sonic cartoons on TvTropes. I'm actually considering deleting it soon). I really hope Prime becomes the first Sonic Cartoon to break the chain and end on a proper resolution.

I think it’s clear that season 2 will evolve around shadow we don’t know what’s gonna happen 2 things sonic and shadow will work together or will sonic be proceeding shadow across the shatterverse
I think at sonic prime season two I think after sonic and shadow fight sonic will come back to new yoke city after sonic nine rusty repal Knucks and the others when they defeat eggman and get all the shard pieces and they all will go home and will be as modern characters again for season 2
