It would have been less annoying if when she grew up they had a more mature voice playing her. Not a 16 year old with the voice of a toddler.
And that wasn't even sad, I create characters with worse and sadder back stories and stories. I've seen worse! This, this was extremely tame to some of the stuff that I've watched.

Definitely a dark ending but it at least gave us a bit of closure of a happy future instead of just a gut wrenching end.
