I avoided watching Memphis basketball because of the antics, attitude and stupid talk that came from some of its team members. My highest respect goes out to the athletes with class. They are the ones who don't need to flex or stick their tongues out during a game because they made a shot. I watched a kids basketball ball game and noticed that a young player was flexing after he made shots. Not only do kids wear the shoes and jerseys of the players, but they copy their behaviour as well. Who is Ja copying?

Suspended for half the season but no pay until the playoffs if they make it. He’s young and dumb but I wouldn’t paint him as a menace. I know some of y’all have done worse at his age. No, I’m not excusing his actions. Hopefully he gets it this time.

Ja should learn the hard way already with far more warnings apparently that you aren't invincibile to bs behavior. Permanently suspended from the NBA. Make him an example. Make these youth give an f about holding themselves accountable instead of thinking its funny to be so reckless. Learn to distance yourself from this as much as possible. You can't afford to risk it at all not even once, let alone 6 fn times. No one team can or should be allowed to pick him up after he gets released. Strict? Yes. Harsh? Yes.
