DC definitely needs a cab, might as well get one with a heater and a windshield wiper as well, trust me you won't regret it.

You are literally using a high speed planter at 3.5mph. What do you expect!?

i love your videos. you seem very smart. will there be any colabs with other farmers like laura farms or millenial farmer? i wish millenial farmer would share his operating costs like you do. because he seems to be killing it. i don't know if it's a differernt way of opperating or if things go easier up in minnesota. I doubt it i'm from there. Keep up the good work.

Here lies a poor woman who always was tired
For she lived in a place where help wasn't hired
Her last words on earth were, "Dear friends I am going
Where washing ain't done nor sweeping nor sewing
And everything there is exact to my wishes
For there they don't eat and there's no washing of dishes
Don't mourn for me now, don't mourn for me never
For I'm going to do nothing for ever and ever." 😎

If you plant slow with a high speed planter you will get less product.

If you have a good dealer they will take it back

Cole I am from Illinois and there is no difference in farmland there or here. It is the same and good all around!

Paul Schuchert 2023.06.04 - 2:19 am

Now you need to test a Kinze planter next year

Compared to where you were 4 years ago, you guys are doing wonderful(even if it doesn't feel like it). You are trying to grow your farming practices and update some outdated ones. Think of it this way, if you start a new business you know the business model says that it isn't until the 5th year that you start seeing more things going in the black. That's if your doing it right and everything is humming. Your business at this point, with the new model is how old? Come on Cole, step back and think again. You really are only looking at 2.5 to 3 yrs at the most that your running on the current model, and that model has had to be adjusted constantly due to past experience and the current resources at your disposal that you use. Maybe ad another year to your expectations on the return. Don't forget, you are also allowing the seed companies to test their new mixes and materials on your farm, so you are a work in progress and going up. You'll get there. By the way congrats on the little one.

Just my thoughts for you to think on cole. We run a John Deere loaded out high speed with John Deere’s air closing and yetter twisters. Love it. With the air bags you can really crank down the pressure which you probably need in no till application. What we notice is with increased speeds it can call for more down force. We had the best emergence we ever have had. That’s our experience on our dirt. Great videos, keep it up.
