Umpire pleases 😢😢
If someone made a video of umpires good calls, it’d be really short and few.
⭕️
"Come on, ump! That throw wasn't even close!"
"Unsportsmanlike conduct! 15-yard penalty!"
Good
😄
4:20 is safe😮
I dont understand 0:25 did he call a no-swing?? or was it a foul tip
Not all of these are "bad" per say. 1:12 for instance. Alot of good umpires would have missed that one.
By umpires being umpires you mean the crew getting together and getting the call right almost every time?
4:54 how's that fair
umpires "being umpires"? have some respect, man, blue works hard as hell and no one says a damn thing unless they call a perfect ws game
I can't wait until technology renders egos obsolete in 10-20 years. Maybe sooner than that
Emblematic of how this country is being intentionally ruined by TPTB in order to make way for global governance, MLB umpires are actively participating in their own demise to make way for the robots. It is embarrassingly obvious — in both cases.
I’ll give you that these are wrong calls but I don’t think that these are worst calls. I can see why they would make the. Call they did. Which is why review challenges is so good to have
As a little league and senior league umpire, a lot of these seem like obvious calls on television, but aren't from the umpire's perspective. 4:10 Is a perfect example. It was a bang-bang play which occurred mostly out of view of the umpire.
Also, those foul tips/dropped third strike are usually not visible to the umpire at all, unless the pitch is far out of the zone. You have to rely solely on auditory cues. Say what you want about some of these calls, but I think umpires get too much crap for making a mistakes every now and then.
5:25 Looks to me like it was in the zone. It was just a good pitch. Remember, just because it's hard to hit doesn't mean it's a ball.
