Looking forward this, but still somewhat saddened that the BBC threw loyal partners, like Australia's ABC TV (57 years of Who) under the bus, in favour of the all consuming Mouse. Commerical imperatives, exacerbated by Tory cuts and sabotage. I do note, that the ABC is still doing far more to promote the new episodes than D+ Australia is. The series has no visibility on the Aussie site. You have to search for it, to bring it up. Not exactly the heavy promotion You would expect from a major production partner. Oh well as long as the Beeb has the money in the bank?

on one hand Doctor Who is improving, on other hand Doctor Who is being bought by Disney so don't expect the improvement to last too long unless Disney changes its ways.

Poor Tennant. He/his acting are going to be the only good thing about this special, I fear. And RTD has officially gone mad and hates the die-hard fans of the show now? Knew it was too good to be true. I just hope Tennant's presence is enough to overshadow his fervent desire to inject social politics into any and everything these days. If only Gatis and Moffat were around to reign him in.

Soo we are not questioning the fact that he did not commit suicide to change genders or how he even regenerates into a previous live. Dr who has gone down hill since I first started watching it to a point where a friend of mine that is also a fan of Dr who has stopped watching it coz of how rubbish its gotten. Don't get me wrong tho David tenant is a awesome doctor and I'm glad to see him return but I'm a huge lore person and this has just scrunched it up and threw it in the bin but not before using it to wipe there noises with it in my opinion the creators don't care for lore anymore sorry but it's true

Okay, I've not really been getting all that hyped on David Tennant as the 14th Doctor. But now we've finally seen the first 60th special, I actually think I prefer Tennant as 14th. So far, he doesn't seem as depressed as he was as 10th. Look forward to the other two specials.
Only good thing I can say is….the tardis looked nice. Rest of it typical rtd trash with cop out ending like he’s been selling this big bad metacrisis if she ever remembers she’ll die and how does she get rid of it….just let it go…it was better than chubnals rubbish sure but that’s not saying much, all this talk of Tennant playing a new version….it was literally the exact same performance
Imagine if Destiny was a real being and next antagonist for 15th Doctor.

I love David Tennant as The Doctor. He was born to play The Doctor.
I am so dissapointed at how they dealt with this. I was so excited to see Donna back and really enjoyed the episode.
Then I was slapped in the face by a She Hulk moment of 'If only you were still a women, you'd understand we can just let it go'.
What does that even mean? Why couldn't she just do that to start with??? What an insult to her story.
Did we REALLY need a white male Doctor for the 60th Anniversary?
TARDIS has a coffee maker built in but goes crazy when some gets spilt on it? Couldnt have come up with a better idea for it to be sent wherever its going?

All in all, absolute rubbish start to the 60th with far too many holes if you stop and actually think. Was also far too kid-ish and just boring. Bloody hope next week isn't boring woke rubbish

Just like Star Wars and other great movie franchises, BBC and Disney have ruined the Doctor Who universe with its leftist progressive mentality insane propaganda.
I’ll never watch another Doctor Who series until they gain some ethics, morality and common sense.
David tennant acting cann't save the horrible writing that is current day doctor who that started with chibnall and seems to be even worst with RTD return.
Absolutely horrible story. All new low.
Why cant the writing on this show just stay just like this all the time, it would be smart to for the series going forward with new actors as the DR and those surrounding the character

Disappointing 😔
It could have been very good but yet again WOKE has destroyed a good story. I've go no problem with a little diversity in things buy when the story is dominated by woke mentality and it's like a competition to put as much in one episode as possible, it takes away from the true story line. I didn't watch last season and watched this hoping it might be balanced out a bit, but it's actually gotten beyond a joke.
I'm so glad David is back I stop watching it after he left not been the same with out him he just amazing with this role such brilliant actor I'm so excited I love Donna too but remember when he done with rose and also me crying when she die I was in tears they were really good playing it together
David Tennant is my favorite doctor. And he is the most beloved doctor. I laughed with him, I cried for him when the transformation came.
FINALLY after a whole YEAR of waiting for the most EXCITING Doctor Who episodes, EVER, I watched it on BBC1, last night and WOW! 😃 Just friggin WOW, BABY! 😅 Absolutely EVERYTHING in the episode, I LOVE! 😃 The brand new TARDIS and the adorable, yet sinister new alien, the Meep are personal highlights for me, though! Apart from DAVID TENNANT AND CATHERINE TATE RETURNING, the new TARDIS is DEFINITELY my favourite 1, so far! 😃 Definitely! 😁 Can't flippin wait for PART 2, next Saturday! ALLONS-Y, EVERYBODY! Let's go, go, GO! 👊😁

So refreshing to hear David back as the Doctor again.
Doesn't feel like thirteen years has passed already since his original departure from the show.
Nothing, nothing will happen which was a missed opportunity and then he will get a sexist lecture by two characters he just spend an hour saving.
And right there is the problem with modern script writing.
